A gripping biographical drama

The film stars Matthew McConaughey as Woodroof, Jennifer Garner as Dr. Eve Saks, and Jared Leto as Rayon, a transgender woman who Woodroof meets at the Buyers Club. The film was directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and written by Craig Borten and Melisa Wallack.

Dallas Buyers Club was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $27 million worldwide. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor for McConaughey, and Best Supporting Actor for Leto. McConaughey and Leto both won Oscars for their performances.
